Honeymoon Bay, BC

Our Community sits on the shores of beautiful Cowichan Lake, located in south-central Vancouver Island, BC. Surrounded by beautiful forests and mountains, we are ideally situated with easy access to both the West Coast and the East Coast of the island.

We are nestled in the Cowichan Valley, along paved highways, 30 minutes inland from the City of Duncan. The nearby communities of Mesachie Lake, Lake Cowichan, Youbou and Caycuse are only minutes away. The major cities of Nanaimo and Victoria are an 1 hour, 15 minutes away.

Our summers are hot and our winters short. Our community triples in size each summer as the tourists and summer residents flock to our area. The ‘value of life’ applies here.

Numerous events in our community are provided by the Honeymoon Bay Community Society (HBCS). This society is run by volunteers in the community and each resident of Honeymoon Bay is consided a member of the society. Most events in our community are held in the Honeymoon Bay Community Hall..
